With the development of the Dream sequences started by SquallyBeanz:

its time to create Dagoth and his ash vampires.
We needed a biped, but a suitably more intimidating pose/form, so have based the rig on the vampire lord.
Taking a mixture of classic dunmer and ash slave, I have so far reposed the form into the vampire lord.
At this stage, I have diverted the file into 2 , dagoth, the most ancient being, who is an ancient chimer.
The Ash vampires, possessing the chimer blood, but not sufficiently powerful, were transformed by Azura, and are therefore dunmer in form, though more developed physically and magically.

OGRIM
The original morrowind Ogrim; lets face it, it sucked. terrible design. It was meant to be a demon of malacath, a demonic version of the ogre.
Sadly, morrowind and ESO ended up with some disappointing results in the eyes of a few:
So back to the drawing board. I knew this guy would be rigged to giant, so i redesigned him around that perspective, and dehumanised him as i progressed.
Took my Ogre from another personal project and went to work. Took about 3 days to finish.
Was happy with the sculpt and colour, created a new low poly mesh and UV'd/baked him, took about a day. Textures took a further day, as did the skinning.

ARGH I stepped on GLASS, man! |
Our talented tech artist, alexander b, got an alpha version ingame within a day. He just needs some shader work by our Tech/Env Artist Eloth.

Ash Ghouls
original Morrowind concept |
Despite a very strong concept for the ash creatures, the limitations of the engine, and small art team, meant that the Ash ghouls were only a fraction of their potential, visually.
ESIII ingame |
Basing the new model upon the earlier ash slave, I've added clothing in zbrush, and enhanced the designs further. Current hi res progress:
Snout stage 2. |
Full robe wearable by player. |
Eagle eyes amongst may recognise the symbol sculpted around the gems at the front |
